I learn from my mentors. I've got the credentials to back it up with advanced certifications in movement, power-lifting, track and field, kettlebells, yoga... the list goes on.
I make it a rule never to assign my clients anything I haven't experienced first hand. And so, over this past decade, I've oiled up and flexed across the stage in a tiny bikini. I fell in the box trying to pole-vault myself over my first band. I've stood on the platform and tried to tear my hamstrings off lifting everything I could.
And I've learned from my clients. Not just about what works and what doesn't. But also, what they struggle with internally. Whether gym-related or not.
